In Friday's league match, the host Loyalsock Township Lancers basketball team scored a good 49-32 triumph over the Warrior Run Defenders.
In their next game, the Lancers meet the Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) in a Heartland II match, on Tuesday, January 10. Loyalsock Township will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 8-4 record after their 58-22 non-league win over Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA).
