The Nooksack Valley Pioneers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs to 52 in the Pioneers league victory on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Squalicum for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Monday, January 9. Nooksack Valley will battle a Storm team coming off a 54-40 league loss to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Storm record now stands at 1-5.
The Lyncs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Anacortes prevailed over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 54-40, in a league contest.
