Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz can't hold off MacArthur

The MacArthur Cardinals basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Nimitz Vikings to 34 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkner for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 10. MacArthur will battle a Rams team coming off a 54-36 league loss to Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Rams record now stands at 8-4.
The Vikings (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Scots enter the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Highland Park nudged Irving (Irving, TX), 88-19, in a league contest.
