The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets basketball team (Burt Lake, MI), was overwhelmed 61-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI)

The Comets now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wolverine for a Northern Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 10. Mackinaw City will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 44-26 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.

The Comets (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Rudyard was overwhelmed by Cedarville (Cedarville, MI), 69-30, in a league battle.
