With the win, Marian Catholic upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The host Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA) to clash with the Green Wave in a Schuylkill County 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Nativity BVM won 44-33 in their recent league bout against Weatherly (Weatherly, PA)

Next up, the Golden Bears clash with the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Mahanoy Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 57-15 league win over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
