Texas High School Basketball - Rising Star ripped by May

The May Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Rising Star Wildcats to 22 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baird for a 1A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 10. May will meet a Bears team coming off a 70-7 league loss to Eula (Clyde, TX). The Bears record now stands at 1-7.
The Wildcats (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 3-12 record. In their last bout, Moran was crushed by Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX), 84-7, in a league bout.
