Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA), 55-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Mifflin County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Huskies host Hershey (Hershey, PA) to play the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Keystone bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Hershey lost 58-33 in their recent league bout against Red Land (Lewisberry, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Keystone bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Mechanicsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 45-32 league loss to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA).
