In Friday's league match, the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies basketball team scored a tight 48-43 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

In their next game, the Huskies meet the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Tuesday, January 10. Mt. Hope will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 49-37 league win over Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
