The Nocona Indians basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Petrolia Pirates to 31 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 24-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Archer City for a 2A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Nocona will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-29 league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-14.

The Pirates (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A Region II District 9 contest with a 17-3 record.
