Texas High School Basketball - Permian overwhelmed by Odessa

The Permian Panthers basketball team (Odessa, TX), was routed 54-19 in Friday's league battle with the host Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX)

The Bronchos now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Angelo Central for a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Odessa will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-11.

The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels come into the 6A Region I District 2 battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Midland Legacy trounced Midland (Midland, TX), 53-30, in a league battle.
