Connecticut High School Basketball - Portland knocked off by Old Saybrook

The Old Saybrook Rams basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Portland Highlanders to 22 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgan for a Shoreline contest on Tuesday, January 10. Old Saybrook will battle a Huskies team coming off a 59-31 league loss to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Huskies record now stands at 2-6.
The Highlanders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Panthers enter the Shoreline contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Cromwell ran past Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 72-47, in a league contest.
