Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN), 69-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Spring Lake Park upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Irondale (New Brighton, MN) to play the Knights in a AAAA Section 5 bout on Monday, January 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Irondale lost 66-44 in their recent non-league bout against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)

Next up, the Orioles play the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Osseo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 50-46 non-league win over Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN).
