The Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 53-44 in Friday's league test.
The Vikings (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Madison Central notched a victory over Velma Jackson (Camden, MS), 55-24, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Brandon for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
