Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Patrick's nudges Perkins County

In Friday's non-league outing, the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) basketball squad edged the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), by a margin of 47-43.

The Irish (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Haymakers go into the non-league outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Cozad was tipped by Ogallala (Ogallala, NE), 57-37, in a non-league outing.

The Plainsmen now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherland for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Perkins County will clash with a Sailors squad coming off a 45-28 non-league loss to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Sailors record now stands at 0-6.
