The Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS), 40-18 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cyclones (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Nemaha Central walloped Jefferson West (Meriden, KS), 56-27, in a non-league test.
The Kaws now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Holton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Perry-Lecompton will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Sabetha (Sabetha, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
