Georgia High School Basketball - Taylor County can't hold off Schley County

The Schley County Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Taylor County Vikings to 63 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manchester for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Schley County will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 68-48 league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-5.

The Vikings (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Webster County (Preston, GA). The enter the A D2 Region 6A contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Webster County was nudged by Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA), 58-14, in a non-league contest.
