In Friday's league match, the host Secaucus Patriots basketball team scored a decisive 57-13 triumph over the Weehawken Indians.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs (Englewood, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Secaucus will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 62-32 league win over New Milford (New Milford, NJ).
