The Waynesboro Indians basketball team (Waynesboro, PA), was nudged 40-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Perry for a Mid-Penn - Colonial battle on Tuesday, January 10. Shippensburg will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 54-45 league loss to James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.
The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Blue Devils come into the Mid-Penn - Colonial battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Greencastle-Antrim edged Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA), 55-16, in a league battle.
