The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders basketball team (Dalton, GA), was routed 48-17 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA)
The Phoenix now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickens for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Sonoraville will battle a Dragons team coming off a 37-34 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 13-1.
The Raiders (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA). The Bruins come into the AAAA Region 7 battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, Northwest Whitfield trounced Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 66-21, in a league battle.
