Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA) and the host South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), saw Westminster Academy's basketball squad wallop South Cameron by a tally of 56-17.

With the victory, Westminster Academy improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-12.

Next up, the Tarpons play the Starks Panthers (Starks, LA) in a C District 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. South Cameron will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
