The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dawson-Boyd for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, January 7. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Blackjacks team coming off a 42-36 league win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 2-5.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ortonville (Ortonville, MN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Ortonville was routed by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (Kerkhoven, MN), 70-32, in a league contest.
