In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Aztec Tigers basketball team scored a tight 35-31 triumph over the Newcomb Skyhawks.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 7. Aztec will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 38-37 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
