The Elko Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Dayton Dust Devils to 20 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fernley for a contest on Saturday, January 7. Elko will meet a Vaqueros team coming off a 101-19 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 0-1.
The Dust Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Spartans enter the contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Spring Creek triumphed over Fernley (Fernley, NV), 101-19, in a league contest.
