Virginia High School Basketball - Salem crushes Cave Spring

Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 53-17 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Lord Botetourt lost 29-25 in their recent non-league bout against Northside (Roanoke, VA)
Next up, the Knights play the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Cave Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
