The East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 33-16 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Salisbury notched a victory over Lexington (Lexington, NC), 32-6, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host West Rowan for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Central Cabarrus will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 36-21 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.
