North Carolina High School Basketball - West Carteret topped by Croatan

The Croatan Cougars basketball team scored 32 points and restricted the visiting West Carteret Patriots to 18 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dixon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.
The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, White Oak was defeated by Richlands (Richlands, NC), 29-20, in a non-league contest.
