Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) and the visiting East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), saw Foard's basketball squad hold off East Lincoln by a tally of 30-28.

With the victory, Foard improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. East Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
