Utah High School Basketball - Lehi winner over Jordan

In Friday's league outing, the Lehi Pioneers (Lehi, UT) basketball squad felled the visiting Jordan Beetdiggers (Sandy, UT), by a margin of 46-33.
The Pioneers (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Orem (Orem, UT). The Tigers go into the outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Orem was beaten by Bear River (Garland, UT), 44-37, in a non-league outing.
The Beetdiggers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lehi for a outing on Tuesday, February 7.
First Quarter
Brynlee Cook made 2 three-point baskets in the Lehi 12 -point first quarter. Jordan score just 4 points and the score going into the second period is 12-4 in favor of Lehi.
Second Quarter
In the second quarter, Lehi shutout Jordan while scoring 14 points, Kyarlyn Spencer hit 2 three's and Brynlee Cook had 1. The score at the end of the first half is Lehi 24 and Jordan 4.
Third Quarter
Mackinzie Jepson hit a three in the third quarter as Lehi scored 9 points. Jordan scored 8 points and the score going into the final quarter is 33 to 12 in favor of the Pioneers.
Fourth Quarter
Baskets begin falling in for Jordan in the fourth quarter as they scored 21 points. Lehi scored 13 points and that was enough for a 13- point win. Goose Salisbury hit a three and Brynlee Cook added 2 more for a total of 5 three-point makes in the game. The final score is 46 to 33 in favor of Lehi. The Lehi JV girls Have still not lost a game this season.
