The Southwest Guilford Cowboys basketball team scored 24 points and held the host Southeast Guilford Falcons to 15 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grimsley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Southwest Guilford will battle a Whirlies team coming off a 41-27 league loss to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 1-5.
The Falcons (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets enter the contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Western Guilford ran past Page (Greensboro, NC), 41-28, in a non-league contest.
