Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Kingsford knocks off Escanaba

The Kingsford Flivvers trounced the host Escanaba Eskymos ice hockey squad by a count of 8-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Kingsford moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Flivvers host Calumet (Calumet, MI) to face the Copper Kings in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Copper Kings go into the bout with a record of 0-6.
The Eskymos now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mattawan for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. Escanaba will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
