The Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) basketball knocked off the host Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA), 44-34 in Friday's league test.
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Bells go into the test with a 10-1 record.
The Crusaders now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Serra for a test on Tuesday, January 10. Archbishop Riordan will encounter a Padres squad coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Justin-Siena (Napa, CA). The Padres record now stands at 2-1.
