Virginia High School Basketball - Bland County trounces Grayson County

The Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) basketball crushed the host Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 46-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bears (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell walloped Galax (Galax, VA), 56-52, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to George Wythe for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Grayson County will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 6-1.
