The Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 34-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Patton got by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 56-37, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Henderson for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 11. Chase will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 42-30 league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-4.
