The Brewer Patriots basketball team (Somerville, AL), was nudged 40-39 in Friday's league match with the host Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL)

In their next game, the Red Devils meet the West Point Warriors (Cullman, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 10. Lawrence County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
