The Southampton Academy Raiders basketball team (Courtland, VA), dropped 47-38 in Friday's league battle with the host Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA)
The Vikings now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Brunswick Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Greenbrier Christian Academy prevailed over Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA), 38-32, in a non-league battle.
