SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC), 46-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, SouthLake Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Concord Academy won 57-43 in their recent league bout against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Charlotte Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 45-33 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC).
