Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC), 73-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cummings upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Bartlett Yancey won 52-29 in their recent non-league bout against Graham (Graham, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Chatham Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
