The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Clinton Dark Horses to 30 in the Golden Tornadoes league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Bladen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Dark Horses (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Red Springs was defeated by Midway (Dunn, NC), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
