Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH) and the host Leetonia Bears (Leetonia, OH), saw Columbiana's basketball squad overcome Leetonia by a tally of 37-20.

With the victory, Columbiana improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bears confront the Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Leetonia will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
