East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tavares Bulldogs (Tavares, FL), 37-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Ridge upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Knights host Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Legacy Charter Eagles (Ocoee, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Tavares will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
