The Freeman Mavericks basketball team scored 46 points and held the host J.R. Tucker Tigers to 38 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Marshall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Freeman will battle a Justices team coming off a 47-36 non-league win over L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Justices record now stands at 5-3.
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Glen Allen was defeated by Hermitage (Richmond, VA), 38-36, in a non-league contest.
