Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) and the host Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), saw Grimsley's basketball squad knock off Ragsdale by a count of 49-41.

With the victory, Grimsley upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Whirlies host Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Southwest Guilford won 63-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
