Virginia High School Basketball - Hampton can't hold off Heritage

The Heritage Hurricanes basketball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Hampton Crabbers to 1 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Heritage will battle a Bruins team coming off a 63-40 non-league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 8-2.
The Crabbers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Kecoughtan was nudged by Denbigh (Newport News, VA), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
