The Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA) basketball felled the visiting St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA), 60-42 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA). The Firebird go into the test with a 6-7 record.
The Crusaders now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon Crest Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. St. Joseph Academy will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to University City (San Diego, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 9-4.
