The Matoaca Warriors basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Prince George Royals to 28 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.

The Royals (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Colonial Heights was routed by Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
