The Woodward Academy War Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Morrow Mustangs to 50 in the War Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The War Eagles now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hapeville Charter for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA). The Wildcats enter the contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Lovejoy was defeated by Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA), 67-46, in a non-league contest.
