In Friday's non-league match, the visiting New Kent Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 64-29 triumph over the Poquoson Islanders.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 9. New Kent will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
