North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln nipped by Newton-Conover

The Newton-Conover Red Devils tipped the host West Lincoln Rebels basketball team by a final score of 50-43 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a game, on Tuesday, January 10. Newton-Conover will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 8-2 record after their 63-44 league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC).

With the defeat, West Lincoln moves to 2-9 on the year. The Rebels host West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10.
