Ardmore Tigers (Ardmore, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL), 52-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ardmore upgrades its record to 3-16 on the season. The Tigers host East Limestone (Athens, AL) to clash with the Indians in a 5A Area 16 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 15-3. East Limestone won 84-50 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Huntsville, AL)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Elkmont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 67-65 non-league loss to Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL).
