The Eastland Cougars basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 38 in the Cougars league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forreston for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest on Monday, January 8. Eastland will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 51-28 league loss to Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-10.

The Raiders (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Clippers come into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record.
